What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?:
Being in the First Grade in Kecoughtan High 1963, the first year Kecoughtan was opened, because Francis Asbury burned down Sunday October 23, 1963. 73 - 75 Getting out of school at the end of the day and riding fire trucks and ambulances with Hampton Volunteer Fire Company. Most of my memorable ambulance calls were with classmate Billy Johnson (GOD rest his soul) Going to the concerts at Gosnold Hope Park on weekends. Having to push the VW bug races at Home Coming after some people (who me) took the glass wall down and put a VW Bug inside 'A' Hall from the smoking area one Saturday night. Remember hanging out across from the Book Store. Picking up the heavy cash register and carrying it down the hall. Having fun with John Harrell in Personal Finance class with teacher Don Taylor. Giving Mrs Tarkington a straight jacket to wear and she did. Catching Bambi Zargar when she hit her head above the door and went unconscious over the back of a school bus after a football game at Darling Stadium. Making heart beat sounds with Rick Pauquett and nearly driving Kathy Dillion into a nervous breakdown between us.
What have you been doing the last few decades?:
Did medic/diver/firefighting 20 years. Have been an RN since 1979 still working in the area. SCUBA diving, Building an RV from a 40' bus all decked out. Parrot Head activities. Camping. Hoping to someday move to Florida while I still have the health to enjoy it. Riding my motorcycle. Being a member of the Red Knights and Patriot Guard motorcycle groups.
From Jeffery:
Good to see WarriorTown so active. Cannot wait till the next reunion. Had a great time seeing everyone in 2005. Telling stories that happened to us all and still living to tell about it.

What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?:
"Broading around" on Friday nights with the girls - Shelley, Susan, Linda, Anna, Carol, Judy. Driving by the "wall" at Buckroe, shining headlights on all the couples at Gosnolds and then pizza at Pizza Hut or Annas the weekly slumber party. Okay, it sounds boring - we even went through Robo Wash a few times for extra entertainment - but it was so much fun. Could always count on "the guys" - Chris, Jeff and Jay (Rest in Peace) to show up and mooch the pizza, but to watch out for us at all times. They were better thay boyfriends or brothers!
What have you been doing the last few decades?:
College at UVA, lived in Paris, NYC and finally Washington. Married 1987, two great kids, Liz 16 and James 14. Been a journalist many years, freelance since my daughter was born. Write for SELF, Parenting, Glamour and other magazines. Still keep in touch with my friends, who mean the world to me.
From Melanie:
Looking forward to the 2010 reunion - although please tell me we are not really this old!
