State/Prov.: VA Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 Graduation Year: 1974 Number of grandchildren: 2+ What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?: Damn! 35 years later and everyone wants a memory! :) There are so many justice wouldn't be served to point to just one. But, if I had to I'd say meeting my girl, Betty Blake, at the bookstore! We've been together ever since 1972! What have you been doing the last few decades?: 1974 was soooo long ago...been thru a lot over the years. But, one thing stayed constant - been married to Betty for 33+ years! She's still my girl and has been there thru the thick and thin - that's how you can tell you were meant to be with someone! Have raised two daughters we're really proud of - have 2 grandaughters and another due in April and "Poppie" just can't say no! Lost my brother in '94 and my dad in '06. I work for Northrop Grumman in the IT Sector here in Hampton. Other than that I'm still kickin' and chasing that american dream From Rudy: Isn't it the "bomb" to have a site like this to pull all us 70's Warriors together? |

State/Prov.: VA Marital Status: Single Graduation Year: 1975 Number of grandchildren: 0 What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?: I liked it when we could get out of school early to go to the football games. What have you been doing the last few decades?: I had been in the hotel business for a long, long time and at the same time I delivered newspapers, the Daily Press & the Virginia Pilot. Now I am working at the Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau so still entwined with the hotels but we drum up business for them. We also have people comiing into the office to ask about Hampton or want brochures on area attractions so 99% of the time we deal with happy people because they are either on vacation or going on vacation : 0 ) From Lottie: I think it's great that you have kept this website up for everyone. |

State/Prov.: Wisconsin Marital Status: Married Graduation Year: 1971 What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?: I remember all the wonderful friends I made, and the crazy things we did: camping out behind the Seven-Eleven (and getting "arrested"), secretly crashing the guy's campout behind the Seven-Eleven, dumpster-diving to get the most boxes for homecoming bonfire, clunking our saddle-oxfords, lifting a VW bug onto the sidewalk, Burger King after games, personal symbols in wet cement... What have you been doing the last few decades?: Living it up and becoming even goofier over the years. I have done some professional acting and directing. I learned to sail & sailboard on the great midwestern lakes. I was a sign language interpreter, and that led me into my current teaching career at Madison Area Technical College. My passion these days, in addition to my dogs, is my involvement with living history interpretation. At various venues, I portray women living in the late colonial (French and Indian War and pre- Revolutionary period) and 1812 eras. |

City: Bangor
State/Prov.: ME Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 Graduation Year: 1974 Number of grandchildren: 0 What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?: It was all good. What have you been doing the last few decades?: The kids are all raised and all but the youngest are on their own. The oldest Travis, 27, will complete his 2nd tour in Iraq with the US Army in May 2009 and then is getting out. He's hoping to get a job with the contractor of the drones he works on and then go back as a tech rep to make as he says "bank" $20,000 a month as opposed to $20,000 a year. Second child Megan, 26, who lives and works in Portland, OR will be getting her Masters Degree this spring from Washington State University and plans to start a group home for homeless and marginalized Iraqi War Vets. The youngest Cyndi, 21, is still ocassionally attending U Maine and works full time at the local YMCA. I spend all winter running a hockey rink and the summer I run the local Little Leagues's Junior (age 13 & 14)& Senior (age 15 & 16) League program. We are also proud to host here in Bangor for the last eight years, and I hope for many more, the Senior League World Series of which I am the Tournament Director. We have four International teams, five US regional winners, and a Host Team for a ten team World Series each year in August. We had a team from York County two years ago and a Hampton team got beat in the South regional final last year. I was rooting for them but it wasn't to be. Oh well. Staying busy but I really hope I can make one one these reunions soon. Be glad to hear from anyone. |
