State/Prov.: VA Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 Graduation Year: 1974 What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?: There are truly too many to remember. But what I didn't realize then was that life-long friendships were being made during those wonderful 3 years at Kecoughtan. I cherious those friendships so much and am happy that I can share many wonderful memories with my KHS friends like Robin Winegrad, Kathy McGehee, Johnny Garnett, Bob Schwartzman, Mary Jackson, and Susan Norman. What have you been doing the last few decades?: Well, I got married much later then most of you; I didn't enter that scene until I was 35. Which also means I was a little later in joining in motherhood. I had my beautiful daughter, Alexandra, when I was one month shy of 42 and 2 terrific stepsons, Doug and Russ. So as all of you are enjoying weddings and grandchildren, I am still slugging away at homework, projects, sleepovers, etc with my 10 year old. Here's a shocker - Alex is a cheerleader! My husband Dale is Mr. Mom and I work at Fort Monroe - 3 years until retirement and I can't wait!! From Mary: I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the next 70's reunion. Hope everyone can make it. |
