City: Sauk Rapids
State/Prov.: MN Marital Status: Widowed No. of Children: 4 Graduation Year: 1975 Number of grandchildren: 0 What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?: Glenn Chase I see your debate trip and raise you band trips, but perhaps the Drama club trips are the most memorably unique KHS experiences I had, but the 2005 reunion reminded me the best memory is the enduring friendships that reconnected so well. What have you been doing the last few decades?: We raised 2 up and out of the house, the middle ones. The oldest daughter is a full-time missionary with Youth With A Mission currently at their MN base, always looking for support, and the youngest son is at Fort Jackson, SC this summer in Basic Training, MOS computers, Military Intelligence. The oldest son, 23, lives at home, again, and works in town, and the youngest daughter is starting 7th grade and loves soccer, track, family, friends, and our beagle rat terrier german shorthair mix 3 1/2 year old dog. We loved square, swing, ballroom dancing, clowning, church ministries, theater-watching and acting but peritoneal cancer ended my wife's earthly life 7/4/08. The 5 of us are working through carrying on. Facebook and Warriortown really help me. From Gary: What a trip around the country since graduation! All the way to VA Tech-Biology, then Chicago-lab assistant cutting rats, St. Cloud MN as a nursing assistant, Kirksville MO Osteopathic College of Medicine, around the country for clinical training, Tulsa OK-internship, Lansing MI-pediatrics, and I've been living in Sauk Rapids & working in St. Cloud ever since 1991. |

City: Fishers
State/Prov.: IN Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 Graduation Year: 1978 Number of grandchildren: 0 What is your best memory from Kecoughtan?: The day I hit John Bell's VW rabbit in the back due to kids throwing snowballs at us on the road-scared then, funny now!; taking pictures on the football field as a sophomore for Tribal Tales; supporting the sophomore class as we won the Spirit Jug AND the float competition; and then, because junior and senior year are a blur -- my best memory after all of that is GRADUATING! What have you been doing the last few decades?: I've worked in television and advertising. I raised a beautiful son. Now I work in a hospital in patient relations. From Julie: I've been married since 1986 to Steve. We had a beautiful son in 1990. In 2007, a month shy of his 17th birthday, he collapsed in the middle of his hockey game and died of "sudden death" - to be simplistic. It's been a rough couple of years and I don't really see how it will get better. We do try to concentrate on what we HAD, rather than what we LOST, but it's hard. I try to keep in touch with folks on FB. |
